It was time for the most awaited destination that is Pangong Lake. It is one of the most famous attractions in India that is probably on everyone's wish list.

Traveling from Leh to Pangong Lake was so beautiful, bike riding parallels to the Indus river to reach Pangong was an exciting occurrence in itself. The noise of flowing water constantly reminded the lap of nature.

I reached the popular tourist place near the banks of the lake where every student’s favorite movie “3 Idiot” was shot. It was a very beautiful spot where Kareena was driving a scooter in a bridal suite to catch Amir Khan. It's just a beauty to observe but certain facts make it an even more interesting site due to its color changes from shades of blue to green to pink. It is a salted lake, freezes completely during winters from November to January month.

It is approximately 60 percent in China and 40 percent in India that's why called is located in the disputed territory. It is a salted lake like an endorheic basin that implies it does not allow outflow to another external area such as oceans and rivers.

A glimpse of the lake filled with great excitement to watch with full radiance. I thought it best but still I am a better photographer near the lake after sharing these beautiful photographs. My friends took the picture of the majestic lake as the perfect site against the backdrop of mighty mountains.

A day spent well as the night was cherry on the cake with friends who were accommodated in camp in front of the lake. The night temperature is freezing cold near the lake.
